At Kalido, we believe in a world where opportunity is accessible to everyone, regardless of where they come from or who they know. Our mission is to democratise opportunity and create a billion smiles. To achieve this, we’ve built a platform that ensures everyone is matched with the best opportunities available to them.
Opportunity is most impactful when paired with the right education. So we’ve formed Kalido Cares—an initiative to raise funds from foundations and like-minded organisations that prioritise education as a means to transform lives.
Our first initiative: SAWiT
SAWiT (South Asian Women in Tech) is the first initiative powered by Kalido Cares. Its mission is ambitious yet simple: to upskill 10 million women in Generative AI, giving them with tools to excel in the digital age. Since its inception:
- Over 80,000 women have completed the introductory GenAI course.
- SAWiT has partnered with state governments, global companies, and influential figures to drive impact.
- SAWiT’s success has demonstrated how targeted education can empower individuals, spark economic growth, and create meaningful opportunities for women.
